One of our perhaps most recognisable straps and unique designs in the strap universe is the Fusion strap series. Only recently introduced, we’ve been hard at work further expanding the range with one of our favourite strap colours: Navy Blue.
Blue is an essential strap colour, providing a great alternative to a pure black strap. Navy Blue specifically is a versatile color and the casual tone certainly matches the style of the Fusion series.
The base layer is a fantastic calfskin, in a nice and clean deep navy blue color. This is a bark tanned calfskin, tanned in Italy, and it will pick up a beautiful patina over time. Fused on this base layer you will find a special blend of cotton, canvas and nylon in a similar toned navy blue. The special blend of canvas material is made to resist tearing and is used in the highest quality mil-spec gear out there today.
Due to the weave of the material, a thread coming loose will not undo the entire canvas blend so no worries there. The canvas edge will ever so gently fray and age along with the leather, if it gets a bit out of hand a gentle trim can be given if desired.
