Welcome: Contributor Zach Kazan

It is with much delight that I’m writing another welcome message for 2019: Joining us all the way from the great State of New Hampshire, Mr Zach Kazan.

Zach’s been fascinated with watches since childhood, the first watch he can remember really loving was a gaudy mid-90s Citizen quartz chronographChronograph A chronograph complication is a feature in a watch that allows the wearer to measure elapsed time in addition to telling the time. It works by having a separate set of gears and levers, called the chronograph mechanism, which is activated by pressing a button or a pusher. The chronograph mechanism starts and stops the chronograph's second hand, which is usually located on the watch's dial, separate from the regular watch hands. The elapsed time is usually displayed on a sub-dial or a register on the watch's dial. [Learn More] (two-tone with a brown dial!). He lost it in a move years ago but he’s been hunting eBay for a look alike ever since. Should you have one of these hidden away, give the man a break and please get in touch with him.

His professional background is in higher education finance where he has spent a good chunk of his career helping students become more financially literate in the hopes that future generations of American students aren’t as saddled with crippling loan debt as my own. How very noble of him! I’m assuming this means he clearly warned said students to avoid getting into collecting watches..

He has a clear love for all watches and believes this hobby is best enjoyed when not taken so seriously!.Seeing his writing (coming to you shortly), this is crystal clear in his articles making them an absolute joy to read.

Welcome Zach!
