News: H. Moser Graduates To The Big League And Joins The Maisons Historiques At Watches and Wonders

H. Moser and Cie has announced that they will no longer be located in the Carré des Horlogers at this year’s Watches and Wonders (formerly SIHH). The Carré des Horlogers traditionally houses independent creators and boutique brands (for example Ressence, Urwerk). The Main area is occupied by the Grandes Maisons such as Cartier, Lange, Jaeger-LeCoultre etc.

H.Moser, continuing its ascent in the horological hierarchy, has now shared the news that they are moving out of the Carré des Horlogers. This is not to say they are leaving the fair, quite the contrary. H.Moser is moving into the arena with the big boys, becoming part of the “Historic Maisons” at the fair.

This is a big move for the brand and a recognition of the tremendous growth the brand has experienced the past few years. It seems that 2020 is indeed proving to be a great year for H.Moser and Cie.

Edouard Meylan, the Manufacture’s CEO, clarified in an interview with FHH: “We always wanted people to consider us as as the smallest of the established brands and not the biggest of the niche brands. I think today that’s very concrete and it’s not the end of what we want to achieve. It is actually the beginning where we really want to go”.
